SHOWNOTES:
Adrianna Keefe joins Whiskey and Work to talk about her success following a specific niche. Kelsey and Adrianna talk about the power of settling into this and gaining confidence to market yourself as an expert. Sit back and grab a notebook, the two lay out how to do just this through their own stories.
What we’re talking about…
Adrianna Keefe describes herself as a mother of three, a wife, a human design coach and speaker.
Due to some three-year-old mischievousness, this episode lays the foundation for how Adrianna grew her business and a future episode will dive into human design. Please also note this episode does entail some mildly explicit language.
Adrianna shares about her quarter life crisis and how she became very attracted to the idea of spirituality.
While diving into this learning she was introduced to human design, but continued to add other skills to her tool box of knowledge.
Adrianna explains how her main objective was to help mothers that felt as she had during her own quarter life crisis.
However, her exact focus wasn’t clear as she was hesitant to declare a niche for herself.
During this time, she practiced reading human design charts for friends, family members, and various clients for free or for a low charge.
On a call one day she opted to introduce herself as a “human design expert”
This proclamation immediately brought more business her way because it clarified her business purpose as a coach.
These clients were often one-and-done chart readers — raising a new dilemma in her practice.
She then created a mid level online course based on client feedback to create a space that allowed clients to keep working on these skills without the financial restraints of one-on-one coaching.
This middle ground approach is ultimately what grew her and allows it to grow today.
The two talk about the importance and freedom of having a minimalist business as a mom.
